PRIVACY POLICY
Pilatex SA attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. This policy explains what data is collected on the gasyrug.com website, why, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Pilatex SA, Lot 119A Antanetibe – Ivato, 105 Antananarivo, Madagascar.

2. Data collected
Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, you provide us with: your last name, your first name, your e-mail address, your telephone number, your country, the subject of your request and your message.
Technical data
Like any website, the server that hosts gasyrug.com automatically records connection logs (IP address, date and time, pages viewed, browser type). They are used to ensure the security and proper functioning of the site. They are kept by the host for the period required by regulations.
Browsing data (only if you accept them)
If you accept the “Audience measurement” category in the cookie banner, Google Analytics may collect: a cookie identifier, the pages viewed, the origin of your visit, information about your device and browser, your IP address (not retained by Google Analytics), and two actions on the site: opening the “Request information” panel and submitting the contact form.
The content of your messages and the data entered in the contact form are never transmitted to these tools.
What the site does not collect
The site does not require any account, does not offer online payment and does not collect any banking data.
3. Why we use your data

The data from your contact form is not used for automated prospecting. It is not sold.
4. Recipients
Your data is intended for the persons at Pilatex SA responsible for responding to requests received through the site.
It passes through the infrastructure of the company OVH SAS, which hosts the site and the e-mail service as a processor.
If you accept the “Audience measurement” category, browsing data is received by Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics). See Google’s privacy policy.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Pilatex SA is established in Madagascar: your messages are accessed and processed from that country, which does not benefit from an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
If you reside in the European Union, this transfer is limited to what is necessary to respond to your request, made on your own initiative. Your data is protected by appropriate security measures.
Google may process browsing data in the United States or in other countries outside the European Union, according to the mechanisms it implements (EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). You can avoid these transfers by refusing the “Audience measurement” category.
6. Retention period
- Messages and exchanges: 5 years from the last contact, then deletion or anonymisation.
- Connection logs: period required by regulations, held by the host.
- Cookie choice: 180 days, then we ask you again.
- Audience cookies: duration shown in the table in section 8.
- Audience measurement data held by Google: 14 months for data linked to an identifier, 2 months for event data.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability.
You may withdraw your consent to cookies at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the “Manage my cookies” link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
To exercise these rights, write to contact@gasyrug.com stating your request. If we have any doubt about your identity, we may ask you for proof of identity. We will reply within one month.
If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country: in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr); in Madagascar, the Commission Malagasy de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CMIL).
8. Cookies and trackers
A cookie is a small file saved on your device when you visit a website. The gasyrug.com site places audience cookies only with your consent. None is placed before you make your choice. You may accept only the strictly necessary cookies, accept all, or choose by category.
- Necessary for operation: remembers your choice. Always active.
- Audience measurement: Google Analytics, to understand which pages and which rugs are viewed.
You can change your choice at any time using the “Manage my cookies” link in the footer. Refusing audience cookies does not limit your use of the site.
