Flower
Resolutely figurative: this is a barely hidden tribute to the paintings of the great masters. From Renaissance bouquets to Van Gogh, Monet, Matisse or Braque, from Japanese prints to Persian mosaics, the depiction of vibrant flowers fascinates and soothes.
Deliquescence
In a world where everything is falling apart: our values, our dogmas and our ways of life. Deliquescence is also synonymous with beauty and harmony, however disconcerting that may seem. Through the alliance of its colours and the balance of its forms, this new world creates its own paradigms and nourishes its joie de vivre.
Organic Megalith
Organic Megalith reminds us that the history of humankind is not linear: many civilisations have disappeared, leaving behind only a few great stones. Who were these men and these women, how did they think, what did they know how to do? All that remains of them are these stones, and we, what will we leave behind? Organic Megalith draws its inspiration from these stones from another age, perhaps antediluvian and older than Göbekli Tepe (Turkey), dated to 12,000 years ago. Throughout this theme, the forms interlock like cyclopean walls, while our thoughts, like bubbles, escape from them to meet this unknown civilisation.
Art Deco
The modernity of Art Deco has never been belied. This style returns often and leaves its mark. Each time it is reinterpreted, recognised and familiar. Expressed through the heightening of a skilfully stylised geometry (fine lines, thicks and thins, juxtapositions), it remains a formal and timeless theme, revealing the most subtle and accomplished qualities of the stylistic creations of an era.
Consciousness
Consciousness, inherent in every living being, radiates feeling through all of us, allowing us to understand that we are all bound to one another. Carl Jung, the founder of analytical psychology, expresses consciousness through the word pleroma: the whole of consciousnesses tinting our collective unconscious. In this way, it permeates the organic as much as the built. In these tapestries, our collective unconscious is literally expressed through the archetypal symbols common to all cultures.
